Claire - one week

I've been horrible about updating the blog this past week. I really thought there would be more "down time" with a newborn. I was wrong! We have been so fortunate to have such great family and friends here to help out this past week. We haven't had to make a single dinner yet! The only down side to having so many people here that love to hold Claire is that she isn't doing well sleeping on her own. She has to have someone hold her to fall asleep. We are working on that and she is getting better at sleeping without someone holding her. Although last night was a bit of a regression so I went to the store today and bought a special sleep positioner for her. It has a built in heart beat sound machine - we'll try it tonight and see if it helps. Here are a few new pictures of Claire:

This is Claire in her favorite spot on daddy's shoulder. If we can't calm her down, this is the spot that will do it.



Claire in her new swing that daddy had to get her. It will project a star light show on the canopy! It's awesome and she loves it.
